The USC women's tennis team finished the 2017-2018 season ranked 12th by the Intercollegiate Tennis Association.
The last time the Gamecocks finished the year ranked this high was 1999 and it's also the second-highest finish in program history behind the 1995 team that was 11th at season's end.
Carolina did set a new standard when it was ranked 5th this season by the ITA, the highest ranking the program has achieved.
USC, who advanced to the NCAA Sweet 16, went 11-2 in the SEC, the most for the program since USC joined the league.
