FOREST ACRES, S.C. — Beltline Boulevard in Forest Acres is open again after utility lines fell nearby earlier Saturday.
The Forest Acres Police Department said in its initial announcement that Dominion Energy crews were making repairs after a truck allegedly struck some power lines in the area of Beltline Boulevard near Richland Mall. Authorities were unsure what role weather played in the incident, and the official cause is still under investigation.
Authorities announced the road closure just before 1 p.m. By 2:21 p.m., authorities had announced the road was open again.
