KERSHAW COUNTY, S.C. — The Kershaw County Coroner's Office has identified a man who died in a Saturday afternoon crash.
Coroner David West said the crash happened around 6 p.m. in the 2700 block of Providence Road north of Cassatt.
West said the motorcycle, identified by the South Carolina Highway Patrol as a 2018 Harley Davidson, was heading south when it went off the right side of the road into a wooded area. West said the rider, 27-year-old Austin William Russell Outlaw died at the crash scene.
He was not wearing a helmet, West said.
Master Trooper Brandon Bolt said the South Carolina Highway Patrol is still investigating the crash.
