ORANGEBURG COUNTY, S.C. — Investigators say a driver has died just shy of a week after a crash that happened on I-95.
Corporal Tyler Tidwell with the South Carolina Highway Patrol said the crash involved a recreation vehicle (RV) that was traveling north on the interstate in Orangeburg County on Feb. 25.
Tidwell said the RV was about four miles south of Holly Hill when it left the road and struck a tree, injuring four occupants who were taken to an area hospital.
On Friday, the Highway Patrol announced that the driver of the RV, who has not been publicly identified by the Orangeburg County Coroner's Office, had since died from injuries sustained in the crash.
