SALUDA COUNTY, S.C. — Authorities have released the name of a 35-year-old man who died days after a crash in Saluda County.
Coroner B. Keith Turner said the two-vehicle crash happened on Tuesday at U.S. 178 (Batesburg Highway) and Duncan Road intersection. Coroner Turner said one of the two drivers, 35-year-old Joseph T. Ray, died on Friday morning at Lexington Medical Center.
The coroner's office and the South Carolina Highway Patrol are investigating the crash. At the time, no details were available regarding the condition of other people involved in the crash or how it occurred.
