EUTAWVILLE, S.C. — State authorities say one person has died following a Saturday night crash in Orangeburg County.
According to Master Trooper Mitchell Ridgeway with the South Carolina Highway Patrol, the crash happened around 8:40 p.m. on S.C. 453 near Eutaw Road in Eutawville and involved a 2008 Toyota pickup truck.
Ridgeway said the truck was heading north on S.C. 453 when it left the roadway to the left, hit a ditch and turned over. Officials said the driver, who the Orangeburg County Coroner's Office has not publically identified, died at the scene of the crash.
Ridgeway said the crash is still under investigation.
