COLUMBIA, S.C. — The South Carolina Highway Patrol (SCHP) is investigating a deadly hit-and-run incident that occurred early Monday morning in northeast Columbia.
According to Lance Corporal Brittany Glover, around 12:05 a.m. June 12, an unidentified vehicle struck a pedestrian near the intersection of Two Notch Road and O'Neil Court. The vehicle, traveling north, left the scene of the accident.
The pedestrian died at the scene.
