LEXINGTON COUNTY, S.C. — Authorities say I-26 in Lexington County is clearing after a seven-vehicle crash that happened on Thursday afternoon.
The crash happened around 2:30 p.m. in the westbound lanes near I-126 and, according to the South Carolina Highway Patrol, involved six-passenger vehicles and a tractor-trailer.
Highway Patrol reports that several people were taken from the scene for treatment but injuries weren't considered major.
Traffic maps showed several miles of red lines denoting heavy traffic along I-26 behind the wreck.
