COLUMBIA, S.C. — Drivers in Downtown Columbia could see significant changes in their commute on Monday with "King Day at the Dome," which will include the Vice President of the United States, Kamala Harris.
Columbia Police said the event begins at 8:30 a.m. with a breakfast and prayer service at Zion Baptist Church at 801 Washington Street, and a match to the South Carolina State House follows.

Beginning at 7 a.m., there will be numerous temporary road closures, including:
- Washington Street between Lincoln and Wayne streets
- Wayne Street between Hampton and Washington streets
- Gadsden Street between Lady and Hampton streets
- Sumter Street between Main and Lady streets
Columbia Police also list the following additional road closures:
