Marshall Street reopened after gas line repair

The gas has been repaired and the street has reopened to traffic.

COLUMBIA, S.C. — Traffic was blocked for around 45 minutes Wednesday on a street near downtown Columbia due to a natural gas line cut, according to the Columbia-Richland Fire Department

Marshall Street was closed to traffic between the 277 interchange and Colonial Drive between 11:30 a.m. and 12:16 p.m. as crews worked to repair the line.

The gas has been repaired and the street has reopened to traffic.
