BLYTHEWOOD, S.C. — One person has died following a motorcycle accident near Blythewood on Thursday evening.
According to the South Carolina Highway Patrol, the crash happened around 6:45 p.m. in the area of Branham and Sandfield roads. The vehicle, a 2014 Harley Davison motorcycle is believed to have been having east on Sandfield when it crossed Branham and struck a ditch. The rider was ejected and died at the scene.
SCHP did not provide additional information regarding the victim, who is typically identified by the county coroner once the family is notified.
No additional information on what led up to the crash was available so far. However, the highway patrol is still investigating.
