NORTH AUGUSTA, S.C. — A 21-year-old North Augusta woman has died following a Friday afternoon crash.
The Aiken County Coroner's Office said the crash happened around 1 p.m. in the 1000 block of Butler Avenue in North Augusta. Details regarding the crash weren't available at the time, but Coroner Darryl Ables said it involved only one vehicle.
The victim, identified as Jessee Moore of Robin Road, was taken to Wellstar MCG Health Medical Center but died from her injuries just before 2 p.m.
The coroner's office said it is investigating the crash along with the North Augusta Department of Public Safety, and a toxicology analysis is pending.
