FAIRFIELD COUNTY, S.C. — Fairfield County authorities are warning drivers to expect delays on I-77 due to an overturned tractor-trailer.
Few details are available, but Fairfield County Fire Service reports that the incident occurred around southbound Exit 41 to Old River Road and Winnsboro.
Traffic maps, as of about 11 a.m., showed cars backed up almost to State Highway 200. However, Fairfield County authorities also report one lane is still open.
The South Carolina Highway Patrol lists the crash as an accident with injuries but doesn't have any additional details on the severity or how many vehicles were involved.
