COLUMBIA, S.C. — South Carolina Highway Patrol and Richland County Sheriff's Department are investigating an incident where a pedestrian was hit by a train Monday morning.
The incident occurred around 10 a.m. near the intersection of Two Notch and Fashion Drive at the Village at Sandhills.
The pedestrian was taken to a local hospital, SCHP's Trooper Tyler Tidwell said the extent of the person's injuries is unknown at this time.
