This I-26 Westbound ramp in Lexington County will temporarily close, says SCDOT

COLUMBIA, S.C. — Motorists, take note: beginning Monday, September 16, South Carolina Department of Transportation (SCDOT) will be temporarily closing the I-26 Westbound ramp at Exit 91A/Chapin in Lexington County.

Traffic will be detoured, using Exit 91B and turning left on Columbia Avenue toward Chapin. There will be signs in the area to ease navigation and SCDOT asks drivers pay attention and use caution in the area.

The temporary closure is to complete roadwork that is part of the Midlands Connection project. No timeline has been set for reopening the Exit 91A ramp.
