WEST COLUMBIA, S.C. — Traffic in West Columbia is flowing again after crews cleared a spill from a portion of Sunset Boulevard Thursday evening.
Details of the spill are still limited, but police said in a Facebook post around 5 p.m. that it happened in the 2900 block of Sunset Boulevard near Lexington Medical Center. Drivers were urged to plan an alternate route or expect delays on the major thoroughfare, particularly on the westbound side.
As of 10 p.m., the road had been cleared and traffic was flowing again, according to a Facebook post by the West Columbia Police Department.
