LEXINGTON, S.C. — Authorities in the Town of Lexington have reopened a major route after a rollover accident on Sunday morning.
Lexington Police announced around 9:40 a.m. that it was closing Sunset Boulevard at Northside Boulevard on the outbound side due to the crash. All lanes of Northside Boulevard were also closed as emergency crews worked at the scene.
However, an update posted at 10:30 a.m. confirmed that the crash had been cleared from the roadway with both routes open again. While many details about the crash have not yet been released, police said preliminary details show that a driver failed to yield the right-of-way to another driver.
