LEXINGTON, S.C. — A busy route in the town of Lexington can expect a delay until just after lunch on Wednesday as a local utility conducts work in the area.
Lexington Police warned drivers who plan to drive up Sunset Boulevard to find alternate routes until 1 p.m. as crews from Dominion Energy work to install power poles in the area near Scotland Drive.
The location provided by police is in the middle of a heavily commercial section of town.
Drivers who stay on the route can expect delays and lane closures. Police suggested that drivers avoid the area until the busy roadway reopens.
