COLUMBIA, S.C. — The City of Columbia wants folks in the Five Points area that Columbia Water will be closing the northbound lanes in the 700 block of Harden Street -- between Devine and Greene streets -- beginning Thursday, June 12, at 5 p.m.
Those lanes will be closed while a Columbia Water crew makes a main line tap and will remain closed until work is complete. A Columbia Water spokesperson said no interruption of service is expected while the work is being done.
Motorists in the area should use caution and obey the detour signs, rerouting accordingly.
