LEXINGTON, S.C. — All lanes of Sunset Boulevard/US-378 have reopened in Lexington after a three-car crash was cleared from the road, according to Lexington Police.
Earlier Thursday, police said the major highway, also known as U.S. 378, was partially shut down at Mineral Springs Road for both inbound and outbound traffic due to a three-vehicle collision.
While the investigation is still ongoing, police say the accident appears to have been caused by a driver who "had a medical incident" and lost control of his vehicle. His vehicle struck another vehicle and both left the roadway, hitting a third vehicle in a nearby business parking lot.
