CHAPIN, S.C. — An accident between a freight train and a truck has closed down a portion of Chapin Road near Hilton, South Carolina, and emergency responders are on the scene.
Motorists in the area of Chapin Road between Sid Bickley Road and Primrose Lane in Chapin are asked to avoid the area and try to find an alternative route.
Chapin Police say the roadway will be shut down for an extended period of time. No injuries have been reported.
