RICHLAND COUNTY, S.C. — A pedestrian is dead following a crash that happened on Two Notch Road in northeastern Richland County on Wednesday.
The crash happened around 12:45 a.m. in the area of Two Notch Road between Fashion Drive and Valhalla Drive, according to Corporal Tyler Tidwell with the South Carolina Highway Patrol.
Tidwell said the crash involved a 2016 Jeep with five people inside. He said the Jeep was heading north when it struck the pedestrian.
None of the passengers of the Jeep were hurt but the crash killed the pedestrian.
The Richland County Coroner's Office has not yet publicly released the name of the crash victim. The accident is still under investigation.
