65-year-old pedestrian killed in crash near 277, Farrow Road; Columbia Police investigating

COLUMBIA, S.C. — Columbia Police are investigating a deadly crash involving a pedestrian that happened early Friday morning.

According to the department, the crash happened near S.C. 277 and Farrow Road just before 2 a.m. While details are limited, police said a 65-year-old man was hit and died. Police said the Richland County Coroner's Office is assisting in the investigation.

The victim's name has not been publicly released.
