RICHLAND COUNTY, S.C. — One person was taken to the hospital on Sunday morning after a reported shooting in Eastover.
A Richland County Sheriff's Department spokesperson said deputies were called to the 300 block of Joyner in Eastover to a possible shooting. They arrived to find a man with a gunshot wound to the leg. The victim was taken to an area hospital for treatment.
No additional information about the shooting or what preceded it was available as of Sunday afternoon as the sheriff's department continues investigating.
