COLUMBIA, S.C. — Another Richland County corrections officer has been arrested - the second in two days and the third in a week.
According to Sheriff Leon Lott, the arrest of 36-year-old Donisha Grady, a jail guard at the Alvin S. Glenn Detention Center, was arrested for misconduct in office.
In a statement from the Richland County Sheriff's Department, investigators accused Grady of "knowingly and unlawfully" committing misconduct in office through alleged inappropriate contact with an inmate.
On Dec. 2, 2023, investigators were contacted by a supervisor at the jail regarding suspicion of inappropriate contact.

An investigation revealed that between June 2023 and January 2024, Grady had approximately 65 phone calls with an inmate at the jail outside of her shift hours.
Grady will be processed and booked into the same jail.
