Sumter County authorities search for man accused of threatening victim, firing gun outside home

SUMTER COUNTY, S.C. — The Sumter County Sheriff's Office has issued an alert for a man wanted in connection with a violent crime.

According to a bulletin shared by the sheriff's office, deputies are searching for 32-year-old Quinn Darell Singleton, who is wanted on a charge of domestic violence of a high and aggravated nature.

The sheriff's department said that, on March 16, Singleton allegedly threatened to kill the victim and anyone else with them. The sheriff's office said he also fired a weapon outside the victim's home before escaping.

The sheriff's department said Singleton is about 6 feet 1 inch tall and 185 pounds, with black hair and brown eyes. Anyone with information on Singleton's location can call 911 or report tips anonymously to Crime Stoppers at 1-888-CRIME-SC or CrimeSC.com.
