SANDY RUN, S.C. — Authorities say a house fire in Sandy Run is out, and no injuries have been reported.
The Sandy Run Fire Department said crews found half of the house burning heavily on Saturday when they were called to the scene off Old Swamp Road.
Photos from the home showed tall flames and thick smoke coming from the roof. Officials said crews fought to slow the spread of the fire and eventually got it under control.
Fortunately, officials said they found no one at the home, and no one was hurt. The department didn't release details regarding the cause of the fire.
