LEXINGTON, S.C. — The Department of Commerce announced this morning that the popular E-Cigarette company JUUL will be opening a new assembly facility in Lexington County.
This facility will bring more than 500 jobs to the area.
Harrison Cahill, a public information officer for Lexington County, told us that the facility will move into 375 Metropolitan Drive, part of the CAE Industrial Park.
The proposal still has to go through its second and third reading as well as a public hearing at County Council.
The San Francisco company is investing $125 Million dollars into opening a branch of their e-cigarette production here in Lexington.
This facility will assemble and package JUUL products.
