RICHLAND COUNTY, S.C. — Deputies are searching for the person or people responsible for shooting a teen boy who showed up at an area hospital on Friday evening.
According to the Richland County Sheriff's Department, deputies responded to an area hospital where they met with the victim and witnesses who said the shooting happened in the 100 block of Bombing Range Road. They said an unknown group showed up at the location and began firing.
The victim, witnesses and suspects then ran from the scene. Investigators have since processed the scene and collected shell casings.
Authorities didn't have details on the victim's condition and are still investigating the shooting.
