Sunset Boulevard reopens after crash in Lexington

Around 1:30 p.m., the police department announced that the road was open again.

LEXINGTON, S.C. — Lexington officials say Sunset Boulevard is now clear after a collision just before noon on Friday.

The Lexington Police Department announced around 11:30 a.m. that a collision had occurred in the 5300 block of Sunset Boulevard at Palmetto Park Boulevard. The crash reduced inbound and outbound lanes to a single lane on each side.

Around 1:30 p.m., the police department announced that the road was open again.
